Shipping Policy

GENERAL

All orders are subject to stock availability. While we make every effort to maintain accurate inventory levels on our website, discrepancies may occasionally occur. If we are unable to fulfill all items in your order at the time of purchase, we will ship the available products and contact you to confirm whether you would prefer to wait for the restock of any backordered items or receive a refund.

SHIPPING COSTS

Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on the weight, dimensions, and destination of the order. These fees are collected at the time of purchase and represent the final shipping cost to the customer.

RETURNS

3.1 Returns Due to Change of Mind
Optoelectronics Future gladly accepts returns for change-of-mind purchases, provided the return request is submitted within 30 days of receiving the item. Returned items must be unused, in their original packaging, and in a resellable condition. Return shipping is at the customer’s expense, and customers are responsible for arranging return shipment.

Once the returned items are received and approved, a store credit will be issued for future purchases. We will notify you via email once the process is complete. Please note: Shipping costs are non-refundable.

3.2 Warranty Returns
Optoelectronics Future honors valid warranty claims submitted within 90 days of receiving your order. Customers must prepay return shipping; however, approved warranty claims will be reimbursed for return shipping costs.

Upon receiving the returned items, we aim to process warranty claims within 7 days. Approved claims may receive:

  • A refund to the original payment method,
  • Store credit, or
  • A replacement item (subject to stock availability).

DELIVERY TERMS

4.1 Domestic Transit Time

  • Economy Shipping: 5–8 business days (Free)
  • Standard Shipping: 3–4 business days (£15)
    Handling time is typically 1–3 business days.

4.2 International Shipping
Optoelectronics Future currently does not offer international shipping.

4.3 Dispatch Times
Orders are typically dispatched within 2 business days of payment. Our warehouse operates Monday to Friday during standard business hours and is closed on national holidays. We strive to minimize delays during these periods.

4.4 Change of Delivery Address
Changes to delivery addresses can be made any time before an order has been dispatched.

4.5 P.O. Box Shipping
We ship to P.O. Boxes using postal services only. Courier deliveries are not available for these addresses.

4.6 Military Address Shipping
We can ship to military addresses via USPS. Courier delivery is not available for these destinations.

4.7 Out-of-Stock Items
If an item is out of stock, available items will be shipped immediately. The remaining items will be sent as soon as they become available.

4.8 Delayed Deliveries
If your order is delayed beyond the expected delivery timeframe, please contact us so we can investigate and resolve the issue promptly.

TRACKING NOTIFICATIONS

Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking link to monitor the shipment status based on carrier updates.

DAMAGED PARCELS IN TRANSIT

If your parcel arrives damaged, please refuse delivery if possible and contact our customer service team immediately. If the parcel was delivered in your absence, please contact us for further assistance.

DUTIES & TAXES

7.1 Sales Tax
Sales tax is already included in the prices displayed on our website.

7.2 Import Duties & Taxes
Optoelectronics Future does not currently offer international shipping. Should international shipping be introduced, customers will be responsible for any import duties or taxes upon delivery.

If duties are refused, the goods will be returned to us at the customer's expense. In such cases, a refund will be issued for the product value only—excluding both initial and return shipping costs.

CANCELLATIONS

Orders can be cancelled any time before dispatch. If the order has already been shipped, please refer to our Returns policy for next steps.

INSURANCE

All shipments are insured for loss or damage up to the value declared by the courier.

9.1 Damaged in Transit
We will issue a refund or replacement once the courier completes their investigation.

9.2 Lost in Transit
We will issue a refund or replacement once the courier confirms the item has been lost.
